Quick question for smiting monks and farming - Guild Wars Forums

i was just curious, how do u guys earn money off farming in UW, do u guys pick up all the stuff and sell it to merchant even though its no good or do u guys just sell ectoplasm and shards mainly and/or a gold item. Which way is the best to earn money becuase right now im having no luck with farming :/ 7th try on Uw no ectoplasm yet and no gold items, just kinda sucks iif u know what i mean...thankyou for your time.
